MIGRATION AS A DRIVER OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Cooperation policies and strategies between origin and destination countries, 13th March 2017, Palazzo Greppi – Sala Napoleonica, Via Sant’Antonio 12, Milan

Migration flows are a ‘bridge’ across different societies and create tangible links between origin and destination countries. Active economic development policies can influence the deep-rooted causes of migration and expand the opportunities generated by international migrants in countries of destination. This calls for a long-term global vision of immigration along with an effective cooperation strategy with countries of origin.
