COMING SOON – 10th Migration Observatory Report: “Immigrant Integration in Europe”

The 10th edition of the Annual Report of the Migration Observatory, “Immigrant Integration in Europe”, will be published on Monday 18th May 2026 by CEPR Press.

The report is prepared within the Migration Observatory project, jointly carried out by Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano and Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto, and funded by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.

Ahead of the release, we are pleased to share a podcast featuring Tommaso Frattini (University of Milan, LdA and CEPR), interviewed by Tim Phillips, who offers an early overview of the key themes and emerging findings of the report.

Listen to the podcast here:

Over the past decade, the Migration Observatory has examined what happens to immigrants after they arrive in Europe: their integration into labour markets, their employment outcomes, and their convergence with native-born populations. Drawing on the European Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS) microdata, consistently harmonised over the past ten years, the forthcoming report provides a detailed picture of how immigrant integration has evolved across European countries.

The discussion in the podcast offers an initial insight into the report’s main questions: who Europe’s immigrants are today, how labour market gaps have changed over time, and whether differences between EU and non-EU migrants continue to shape outcomes across countries.

The full report will be released on 18th May 2026.
